Commentary:
This drawing shares much of the character of Kauffmann’s Beauty Directed by Prudence Rejects with Scorn the Solicitations of Folly, well known because of the Delâtre engraving. It can also be compared with the drawing in the British Museum, London, of The Three Graces Dancing. (Alasko)
